Welcome to the homage platform for Anjool Maldé (Jools to his friends and colleagues)
who lived a short but rich life, and someone who touched so many lives in special, endearing and enduring ways.

As tributes and media posts poured in from far and wide at the news of his untimely death,
Journalist Julia Buckley said in her 10 July 2009 piece:
Jools was one of the nice guys. He'd just been ranked the seventh top salesperson
in his stockbreaking sector in Europe. He was only 24.. he was not 'just another banker'
or 'just another overachiever', he was reassurance that the nice guy can win.
A Senior at Deutsche Bank said in the Remembrance Book at his Funeral:
DB has lost one of its favourite children.
Launching an annual scholarship in his name, St Peter's College Oxford said:
Combining a vibrant and imaginative intelligence with a desire to realise
his visionary projects, he was one of those special students.
And Tom Latchford - close friend and contemporary, the founder/chairman of the Localgiving
Foundation - was so taken aback by his loss he decided to dedicate his life and career to
charitable enterprise. He now sponsors an annual award in Social Enterprise in Anjool's name.
The Anjool Maldé Memorial Trust was set up in 2010 to remember Anjool and is pleased to have delivered
by now awards to over 150 winners - some of the UK's top young talents.
