CELEBRATING YOUNG TALENT
The Charity rewards and inspires young adults to ‘do good, do well’ in life and career. It commemorates the life of Anjool Maldé (1984 to 2009) known as Jools by his friends and colleagues. Jools was a bright young man who lost his life tragically 2 days before his 25th birthday. As praise and tributes flocked from the world over at the news of his death, many admirers wished for a lasting legacy celebrating his qualities - a generously helpful, enterprising and innovative young man, always willing to give a helping hand even while busy making most of life’s many gifts yet asking for nothing in return. The Charity was set up in 2010, shortly following the Inquest into his death, to turn this vision into reality. At the announcement of the 2018 Awards over 90 of UK's brightest and talented best graduate-age young adults had been rewarded for their exemplary achievements in 6 categories: scholarship & citizenship, enterprise, innovation, music, journalism and photography. Beneficiaries receive prize money to help advance their interests and ambitions with their achievements widely trailed both to celebrate as well as to inspire others to follow in the same vein. The trustees and supporters give their time freely and all expenses to run and manage the charity are met by them and Anjool’s parents: every penny donated is earmarked for prize money. Many beneficiaries of these annual awards go on to achieve even higher things and the charity continues to receive high praise from prestigious sources. Your generous support will help the Trust continue its mission to reward and celebrate bright young talent,
